However, I suspect it's the sites themselves that are choosing to not support Mobile Safari, possibly even for good user experience reasons. One reason I suspect this is the App Store carries an app called GoDocs which uses the Google Docs API to make local copies of Google Docs and keep them in sync. If Apple was trying to block access to Google Docs, I doubt they'd have approved this app. I haven't spent $3.99 on it, but if I had an iPad I might.
