		<description>Yeah, I was going to swipe the White House seal from the top nav and put it in this blog post, but it got complicated when I discovered that they are doing some pretty advanced usability and accessibility-aware HTML work. Change.gov was pretty well done from a technical perspective (although I had nitpicks), but at first glance it looks like the new WhiteHouse.gov could become a touchstone for best practices. That&#039;s amazing for me to consider.</description>

A wide fixed width, an interesting sign in itself for not worrying about those still using 800 x 600 screens, and an embrace of creative commons 3.0 on the copyright info page.
