This must-see video is ‘MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU’, and is one of several videos by this artist. I encourage you to take 1 minute to check it out.

What is it? A graffiti artist creates videotaped animations which are quite spectacular for an interesting mix of modern technology and old-school expression.

I won’t babble about how significant this is, but it’s food for thought. Video technology is becoming cheaper, more portable, and more efficient. How long do you think it took them to create this video?

I was mesmerized by this video, and I’m glad to see it is getting covered by the blogosphere. It wasn’t that long ago that viewership of this kind of video art was limited to art museum galleries and public access channels. Now talented artists only need a great idea, a little marketing, and word of mouth to get their work out to the world.

Now I’m going to go check out more videos by BLU!
